Korean brothers on life in Japan
Ethnic Koreans make up Japan's biggest minority - the descendants of people who migrated, voluntarily or forced, before 1945 when the peninsular was a Japanese colony.
Some have taken Japanese citizenship, others have South Korean passports, but a significant minority remain loyal to Pyongyang.
Brothers Lee Yonghwa and Lee Seongho were educated at a Korean school in Japan.
They spoke to BBC News about their relationship with the land of their ancestors and why one of them chose to take a South Korean passport while the other remained North Korean.
